First Britzpetermann iOS App

We successfully finished and released our latest toy – the PhädPäd.

While creating the website of the musican Karlo Jurina, we figured out that the iPad is a great input device to track his hand and finger moves while imitating a guitar or somehow dancing with his fingers on the iPad. Those moves have been recorded and then transformed into the visuals of his website.

If you want to know more about the process of Karlo’s site, sneak here.

Detailed, the PhädPäd communicates through a TCP socket and sends touch and acceleration information to the listener. The protocol is simple and should easily leverage Silverlight, Processing or VVVV clients.

Visit the PhädPäd in the App Store.

The AS3 and iOS sources are open. Feel free to join us and have fun!
